Tarnished Metal Base is designed to mimic the heavy, dull sheen of metal that has begun to oxidise or has been exposed to dirt and oil. Thanks to the natural mica pigments, the paint has an extremely homogeneous coverage with a sheen that feels both massive and genuine. The system guides you methodically through the painting: from a solid base of tarnished metal, via a specially formulated metallic wash that creates definition, to the bright highlights that give the surface its necessary contrast.
